John Thomas Allison
APOPKA, FL -- Mr. Allison passed away March 31, 2011 at The Hospice House in Altamonte Springs. John was born in Charlotte, NC to Walter and Grace Allison March 19, 1943. He graduated from Harding High School and served in the US Air Force. John loved cars, boats, deep sea fishing, traveling, socializing and Florida Gator football.
He is survived by his father Walter Allison of High Point, NC, daughter Lisa (Scott) Prewitt, son Christopher, grandchildren Nicholas and Lauren Prewitt and special friend Denise McAuley of Apopka. In Charlotte, he leaves brother David (Judy), nephews Keith (Angie), Jeremy (Christy) and his uncle Robert Allison and aunt Blon Martin, along with several cousins.
John was preceded in death by his mother, Grace Allison.
Visitation will be at 7pm on April 7th at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home, Altamonte Springs. Burial will be at 1pm on April 8th at Highlands Memory Gardens, Apopka.
