Charlotte was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 1998. and was forced to retire in 2007. Life for her today is difficult. Parkinson's kills the brain; the brain kills the body.
I have loved her since I was a child. We grew up together--Seversville Elementary, Harding High School, and attended the same church. We worked at Camp Lurecrest together, and were married on August 3, 1963. We are now in our 47th year of love and devotion.
She is the most Christ-like human being I have ever known. She has never asked God the wrong questions. She has controlled the only thing we have to control--her attitude! She is surrendered, trusting, and obedient to the Lord Jesus in mind, word, heart, and deed. She never complains...ever!
I do not know anyone who knows her that does not speak of their deep love and admiration for her. God has graced her with a life of genuine love and discipleship to Jesus. I am blessed beyond words. I thank you for your prayers for her.
She will not be physicaly able to attend this wonderful event, but her heart will be with you all. Cooter has been so kind and faithful to pray for her, and is a dear friend that brings me tons of laughter and true friendship!! Jerry
